One day Canada’s largest retail pharmacy chain called and we got to do an amazing comedic commercial series for their Shoppers Optimum card. This commercial series captured the feeling of free, and the excitement that a good loyalty program can bring to the shopping experience. Also, this is what it looks like when Sandra Enns-Arnell and Twitter sensation, comedy genius, and pal Tim Siedell make commercials.
Shoppers Optimum: Helpful Signs

- The series was shot over two nights in a newly opened Shoppers Drug Mart in Markham, Ontario. Hard ins and outs are typical when shooting in a functioning retail location. The fact that we managed to get five 30 second spots in the can in two 12 hr nights was testament to our incredible cast (non-union) and some creative set ups and scheduling. Checker board, anyone?
